Who we are....
We are a training program designed to educate and prepare those looking for a career in birth work and those seeking to learn more about birth. Birth Assistants Education taught its first class in 2011 and have sent many birth professionals and students out into the birth world ready to work! Our trainers have years of experience both in the birth room, behind the desk and in the classroom.
"I took the birth assisting training because I was trying to get into midwifery school and I had almost no experience attending births. I wanted to get my hands on all the knowledge and training available. I'm so glad I did! Micki & Chelsea are so skilled at teaching and so experienced at birth assisting that I knew I was in good hands throughout the training. After the basic training I also took an emergency skills course and found that incredibly helpful as well. I think this course should be a prerequisite for midwifery school."
